Parts are designed to fit any needs. There are 18 for 4x4mm and 16 for 4x2mm different parts that you can see on the images. They have two male and female connectors and they use Φ4mm x 4mm high, Φ4 x 2mm high or Φ3 x 3 high Neodymium magnets. This magnet provides sufficient connection force for every need (different cases with different connection high) that you have and at the same time easy deconnection. All Male connectors have a letter D and all Female one letter U so you should not confuse them in your placement. With other words you have guidance (male and female features) and connection (magnet) at the same time.
Some of them are simple (just the two connectors as The Just Magnets and Conenctors Pack above) and some of them are designed for advanced users with extension for merging with the Surgical Guides or any other application. There are two types of merging extensions – Plain Surfaces and a Square Mesh so you can remove unnecessary parts and use just the shape that best matches your needs. Also there is just a magnet holder and male and female connection – (with outside look as a plain cylinders). Best way to use them is with Autodesk Meshmixer or some similar STL manipulation software.
There are two parts for every holder version marked as 1 and 2 for all versions. When you import them in a software please import them both at once (you can do them separately as well but it is better for both at once).
Just Magnets and Connectors Pack has the most simple version of all three and it consists of just cylinders for putting magnets inside as well as the connectors that go with them. Packs has three sets of above separate parts so one 3x3mm set (magnet and connector), one 4x2mm and one 4x4mm. In total six parts.
Pack of 4x4mm, 4x2mm and 3x3mm has three downloadable files which you need to download separately from the Thank you page.
